Luigi Conci’s artistic pyrography

These few lines to let you know informations, or details about pyrography, for no Italian speaking language, especially to South American friends.
Italian, over 30 years old, I am fond of pyrogravure, the artistic wood or leathercut technique. I also use electric bit to cut materials. I am keen on Art and artistic creations.
I would like to give you some details concerning the use of this technique on wood:

• buy a pyrograph with a voltage regulator and a pen with interchangeable bit;
• choose carefully the materials you use: pay attention when you work with soft surface, in this case you can easily make mistakes. Working with wood can also be difficult in leaving marks;
• never be in a hurry with pyrograph, be always concentrated in working;
• watch out temperatures and use your hands carefully, you can risk to burn;
• use wax or other protecting oil at the end of your work: in this case never make any correction after;
• buy books about phyrograpy, with photos; sometimes training course can be useless!
